My cute Momma from 1970-1980

I was talking with my Momma while looking through some of her old photos. She was a teenager through the 70’s and she told me that it was “the thing” to wear Dittos. All the girls wanted them and if you had a pair then you were super rad. She had several pairs of them and they were her absolute favorite pants to wear. Dittos were often found in country western stores back in the day. They can easily be identified by the unique seam in the back that loops around the top of the booty and back down the other leg. Originally, the bell of the jeans would start at the knee and were super wide on the bottom. They were also very high waisted. My mom is wearing them in the photo directly above and the photo where she’s throwing the football 😊 I’m a big fan of 70’s fashion and thought it would be cool if I could find a pair of my own Dittos. After much searching online I found these pair for $29!  They had the classic seam around the back and that 70’s bell bottom that I love. I was so stoked they fit me without having to alter the length. My mom also said that girls would always tie their shirts up in knots, so I decided to style my Dittos with a white and green ringer tee tied up. Thanks for the inspiration Mom! Love you ✌🏼️❤️
