I just recently went back to platinum hair after a year of not coloring it.  These 7 products are what I am currently using in my hair and will definitely be re-purchasing because I am loving the condition it leaves my hair.  If you are platinum blonde or thinking about going platinum, I highly recommend these products!  

1- The first product is a purple shampoo by Shwarzkopf. I have tried ALL purple shampoos out there and always go back to this one.  It takes all of the brassy and yellow tones out of my hair and keeps it super white. It says to leave it in for one minute, but I always leave it in longer (about 5 minutes) If you leave it in too long your hair will turn slightly purple (which can look cool sometimes) 😉 Use this shampoo once a week to maintain your platinum locks.

2- The next product is by Redken and its called Anti-snap. This is a perfect leave-in treatment that you apply to damp clean hair on the ends to prevent breakage. It definitely works and I’ve seen a huge improvement in the health of my hair. 

3- The third product is a dry shampoo by Tresemme called Fresh Start. I love the way this product smells and it’s super affordable. It’s perfect for those in between hair washing days.

4- Product 4 is a thermal heat protectant also by Tresemme. This product is also really affordable and works great! I highly suggest keeping heat styling to a minimum but if you choose to use heat, make sure to get a good heat protectant.

5- The next product is a leave in conditioning spray by HASK called Repair That Hair. I use this every day when I wake up in the morning and before I go to bed at night. I use it on dry and also on wet hair to keep it de-tangled and conditioned. If you have fine hair like I do it’s super important to keep it soft and tangle free to prevent breakage. I go through sprays like this pretty quickly so it’s awesome that this one is only $6!

6- Product 6 is Monoi Oil by HASK  and it smells amazing! I absolutely love all hair oils but this particular one works really well in my hair and leaves it feeling really silky and moisturized without looking greasy. And it is under $10 so that’s cool too.

7- Last but not least is a deep conditioning protein treatment by Olaplex.  I strongly suggest investing into this product. You will see a huge difference in the health of your hair. If you haven’t gone platinum yet, ask your hair stylist to use an Olaplex treatment. Olaplex No. 1 gets put into the lightener, No. 2 is a deep conditioning treatment right after it gets lightened, and this product Olaplex No. 3 is a take home treatment to use once a week in between hair services to strengthen your hair.  Yes, it really does work and makes a HUGE difference. My hair has never felt more healthy!Also notice in the picture above that I did not lose any length in my hair after getting it lightened 🙂

All of these products can be found at your local beauty supply stores and hair salons, and some of them can be found at drug stores and Ulta Beauty. These are all products that I have been using and love! Not all of these products are “professional” hair care products but all of them have worked wonders for my hair.
