Farewell Winter

Dan and I recently took a trip up to Mammoth Lakes for our anniversary.  We don’t get much of a winter here on the Central Coast so I was excited to enjoy some colder weather and get some use out of my winter wardrobe.  I was especially excited to wear my new faux fur coat that I recently thrifted.  It’s super warm and cozy and I love the color and shape of it.  When Dan and I were driving around exploring we saw this beautiful view off the side of the road so we decided to take some pictures. I am wearing my fur coat with my black hat from H&M, my black jeans from Forever 21, and my go-to black booties that I also thrifted.  I’m sad that winter is over but glad I got to experience a few days of it with my sweetie.  We saw some beautiful places and had fun cuddling in our room in the mountains.

Winter is slowly coming to an end which means I get to start riding my Vespa more! There’s been some beautiful sunny days lately and I love taking advantage of them. Since I take my scooter to and from work, and sometimes take it on the highway it can still be pretty windy and slightly chilly. I like wearing my black faux leather jacket with a flannel underneath and it’s usually just warm enough. I did some more distressing to another pair of boyfriend jeans, (see previous posts for a DIY on distressing denim) and love how they turned out. I’m styling them with my brown thrifted boots, striped t-shirt, and flannel from Forever 21. The native style blanket strapped to the back of my Vespa is also from Forever 21 🙂 Living on the Central Coast is truly a blessing and I’m stoked I have a scooter to add to the excitement!
